We have re-named our 3rd Friday as Milonga Picante. Yes, it will continue to be a traditional milonga with tandas and cortinas. Yes, we will continue to respect the line of dance. And yes, there will be more 'picante' or spice. Come find out for yourself if you can handle a little picante in your dance!Doors open by 7:15 and class runs from 7:30 to 8:30. This month we welcome back Jordana del Feld as both instructor and DJ. For the class, Jordana is offering 'Tango from the Inside Out' which focuses less on steps and technique and more on sensation and connection. It is a lovely way to experience deeper connection with both your partner and within yourself.
For the DJ set, Jordana will play a traditional set with with tandas. Jordana pays special attention the 'arc' of the dance, making sure that the dances flow well with the energy of the dancers. And, as our new name, Milonga Picante implies, there will be some dances with a little more 'spice', especially as the evening goes on.
Cost: $20
