3D printing 101

Learn how to take an idea from a concept to a finished 3D printed prototype you can hold in your hand. 

You will come away from this session knowing: 

• The basics of how to design a 3D model in a free Computer Aided Design (CAD) software  

• How prepare the model for printing in the slicer software 

• How to setup the printer for the sample print you have created. 

Our 101 workshops are a great way to gain some new skills and explore creative tools learning from experienced local creatives in an inclusive space.
