About this Event

The SIMulation requires mandatory completion of the Webinar of the same series. This SIMulation takes the knowledge that you have covered in the Webinar and imbeds it into simulation scenarios that represent clinical situations you will meet in daily practice in the community or regional settings.

You will be coached in small groups using a structured educational framework to scaffold knowledge to build clinical reasoning. You will be able to:

•understand the indicators for respiratory assessment and intervention

•appreciate treatment strategies and rationale for this patient cohort

•recognise red flags and signs of deterioration

•activate a respiratory escalation pathway

This simulation will further increase your ability to confidently understand and work with the child's family and medical team.
