Workshopping Your Goals

A group session connecting makers with industry guests, peer networking and a chance to share your own goals, Pecha Kucha style.

This session runs alongside key milestones in the artisan programme, once near the beginning and once near the end, giving participants a chance to check in on their goals with industry input and peer support. The 2.5 hour format includes a guest speaker from galleries, retail, funding bodies or the design industry, facilitated networking with industry professionals, a maker Pecha Kucha round where each participant presents, and an open conversation to close.

Structure:

• Guest speaker (30 min)
• Facilitated networking with industry professionals (45 min)
• Maker Pecha Kucha round, 2 slides per participant (approx. 30 min)
• Open conversation and follow up (15 min)

Who Should Attend? [TBC, age range and skill level] Makers participating in the artisan programme who want industry connection and a structured space to reflect on and share their goals.

What's Included? A guest talk from an industry professional, facilitated networking time, and the chance to present your own goals to the group and get feedback.

What Should I Bring & Wear? Two Pecha Kucha slides ready to present (images of your work or goals). [TBC, dress code or anything else to bring]

Workshop Cancellation Policy:
Please note this workshop can be cancelled by artisan due to unforeseen circumstances or if minimum numbers are not reached - this decision is made between 2-7 days before the workshop date so don't delay in buying your ticket! In the event of the workshop being cancelled by artisan, participants will be refunded in full and as soon as possible.

Participant Cancellation Policy:
Workshops have limited spaces and involve preparation by the facilitator. Bookings cancelled up to two weeks prior to the start of the workshop may be refunded, but a 20% non-refundable administration fee will be deducted. Bookings cancelled within two weeks of the workshop commencing will not be refunded. Refunds are to be processed by the attendee through Humanitix.

Workshop Transfer Policy:
You are also welcome to transfer your booking to another person prior to the workshop commencing. Please confirm this arrangement 24 hours prior to the workshop in writing to [email protected].
