Imagine a Forest School session with a 3 Little Birds twist… 🌿🪘✨
The sound of African drums echoing through the trees. Parakeets and woodland birds filling the air with their song. Children climbing trees and families gathered together, sharing stories, culture and connection. As new friendships form and old friendships grow, we are all simply basking in the joy of being outdoors together. This isn’t just a gathering in the woods. It’s community growing in nature.
Children play by nature, and nature gives endless opportunities for learning and wellbeing. Black families can often be underrepresented in nature based environments, so it’s important that we embrace the joy and benefits of these spaces because nature has always been part of our story.
So a 3 Little Birds Forest school session only makes sense! 😆
Join us on Saturday 15th August for a joyful and inclusive Play by Nature experience where families can connect, play, explore and, most importantly, belong. A different location, but the same warm, welcoming energy that makes every 3 Little Birds event feel like family. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or ethnicity. Let’s create memories, build community and reconnect through the wonder of nature, together. 🌳🤎
