20th Anniversary Event: Watch Me Work - Live Hypnosis Demonstration (FREE)
About this Event
Watch Me Work - Live Hypnosis Demonstration
A Special Morpheus 20th Anniversary Event — Free to the Public
See what hypnosis actually looks like when there are no edits, no stage tricks, and no predetermined script.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Morpheus Clinic for Hypnosis, founder Luke Chao will conduct a live hypnosis demonstration with a consenting volunteer in front of the room.
Rather than simply explaining hypnosis, Luke will show the process as it unfolds: establishing rapport, assessing responsiveness, choosing suggestions, observing the volunteer’s reactions, and adjusting his approach in real time.
Because the demonstration is live, there is no predetermined outcome. What happens will depend on the volunteer, the circumstances, and the responses that emerge in the moment.
That is precisely what makes the event interesting.
What You'll See
The demonstration will give you a closer look at questions such as:
- How a hypnotist begins working with someone
- How responsiveness to suggestion is observed
- What hypnosis actually looks and feels like
- How suggestions are chosen and phrased
- How the hypnotist adapts when something works differently than expected
- Why hypnosis does not require unconsciousness or loss of control
- The role of attention, expectation, imagination, and cooperation
- How real hypnotherapy differs from stage hypnosis and popular portrayals
Luke will also explain what he is doing and why, giving attendees a behind-the-scenes perspective on the decisions that normally remain invisible during a hypnosis session.
Why a Live Demonstration?
Hypnosis is unusually difficult to understand from a description alone.
Popular portrayals often make it look mysterious or theatrical, while polished recordings remove the pauses, adjustments, uncertainty, and human interaction that are part of real practice.
A live demonstration shows something different.
You will see hypnosis as a responsive process rather than a fixed script: the hypnotist paying attention to the person in front of him, testing assumptions, adjusting language, and working with the responses that actually occur.
The aim is not to produce a spectacular performance.
It is to show the craft honestly.
