20th Anniversary Event: How Hypnosis Worked For You (FREE)
About this Event
How Hypnosis Worked For You
A Special Morpheus 20th Anniversary Event — Free to the Public
Why can hypnosis sometimes make a change feel surprisingly natural when willpower, reasoning, or repeated effort did not?
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Morpheus Clinic for Hypnosis, founder Luke Chao will explore what may actually be happening when hypnosis helps someone change.
For past and current clients, this is an opportunity to look back at your own experience and understand it from a different perspective.
Why did certain suggestions resonate? Why did an old fear, habit, or assumption begin to feel less compelling? Why did a new way of thinking sometimes start to feel obvious rather than forced?
For people who are completely new to hypnosis, the evening offers a practical introduction to what hypnosis is, how suggestion works, and why it can influence automatic patterns of thought and behaviour.
What We'll Explore
This event is open to everyone.
The evening will examine questions such as:
- What hypnosis actually changes
- Why knowing what to do is not always enough to do it
- How suggestions become believable and useful
- Why some automatic reactions can change faster than expected
- The role of attention, expectation, imagination, and repetition
- Why hypnosis does not require losing control or becoming unconscious
- Why some suggestions work better than others
- What hypnosis can reasonably help with—and what it cannot
- How the ideas used in hypnosis can continue affecting behaviour afterward
Luke will draw on 20 years of working with clients to explain hypnosis in practical terms without relying on stage-hypnosis myths, mystical explanations, or unnecessary jargon.
For Past and Current Clients
You may have experienced a change through hypnosis without ever fully understanding why it worked.
Perhaps a fear became less emotionally compelling. A habit began to feel unnecessary. You became more confident, more motivated, or simply started seeing a familiar situation differently.
This evening is an opportunity to revisit that experience and understand the principles behind it.
The goal is not to reduce every client experience to one mechanism. It is to show how attention, suggestion, expectation, interpretation, and repeated mental rehearsal can combine to make a new response feel increasingly natural.
For People New to Hypnosis
You do not need any previous experience with Morpheus or hypnosis to attend.
If you have wondered what hypnosis actually feels like, whether you remain aware, why people respond to suggestion, or how hypnosis differs from simply “thinking positively,” this event is designed to make the process easier to understand.
You will leave with a clearer picture of hypnosis as a practical method of influencing patterns that are often more automatic than deliberate.
