Drop in Volunteer opportunity for individuals OR groups! (If bringing a group, let us know ahead of time so we can have special projects lined up! [email protected] )
Each month we work to clear trails at one of the three main Oshtemo parks.
Drake Farmstead Park, on Drake road between West Main and Croyden will be our park on the following dates:
May
8, 22
August
21
September
4, 18
A historic property (and former home of the Drake road namesake) we'll be working to cut back overgrowth and invasive species along the trails to make hiking around easier.
It's a great opportunity to meet other people, and participants often come away with expanded knowledge from the conversations with their new friends!
A small amount of cutting tools are available to borrow, but feel free to bring your own. And feel free to bring a lunch, too. It's nice to stay after and chat.
See you at the Oshtemo Rotary Pavilion at 10:00am!
