Note on Parking: Please park in Plain Street Parking Lot, located directly across Women and Infants Hospital Emergency entrance, which is the closest lot to the event. You will enter the building through the Ambulatory Patient Center (APC Building) and follow signs that will be posted to the George Auditorium.

Please join us for the Rhode Island Burn Center Burn Symposium hosted by Dr. David Harrington, Director of Rhode Island Burn Center, and team!
Discussions topics will include: Surgical management of mid/mid-deep dermal burns, scar management including laser treatment, team collaboration for dressing application, burn care mythbusters, and hearing survivors' journey to recovery.
*Breakfast and lunch will be served.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Parking passes available ONLY to those who do not have Lifespan ID badges/parking assignments through Lifespan.
Objectives:
At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
1. Increase knowledge of current trends burn care throughout the burn care continuum.
2. Increase knowledge and importance of patient/family centered care to for the patient with burns throughout the burn care continuum.
Target Audience: Physicians, Nurses, NPs, PAs, SW, PT, OT, Nutrition, Child Life Specialists, EMTs
