Playground Safety & Inspection, Thursday, March 13, 2025

This half day workshop is designed for those responsible for the oversight and maintenance of playground facilities, and focuses on current safety standards for playground equipment, how playground equipment is designed to be safe, as well as methods for creating a safety maintenance and inspection program. Participants will learn practical strategies to support the overall playground inspection process, and reduce playground injuries.

Who Should Attend: Employees and Supervisors from Department of Public Works, Parks & Recreation, Building and Grounds, Facilities Maintenance, or any other Employees who have the responsibility for playground safety and inspections.

• Deadline for registration is Monday, March 10, 2025
• There is a $50 “no show” fee for anyone who registers but then fails to attend the training.
