Spend a Saturday doing something with your hands — and walk away with something beautiful.
In this one-day workshop, instructor Tom Slavicek will guide you through the essentials of leather crafting: cutting leather, working with basic tools, and stitching techniques. You'll have time to complete a project of your choice — leather shoulder bag, belt, passport wallet, journal, phone pouch with braided strap, drawstring pouch, clutch purse, or tote — and depending on how it goes, you may even have time to start a second. Slavicek can also show you how to use a wood burning tool to inscribe and colorize designs directly on the leather.
No prior leather working experience necessary. All leathers, materials, tools, templates, and instructions are provided. Just bring lunch, enthusiasm, and your desire to make something that lasts.
