Cincinnati Animal CARE remains critically full with 842 animals in care, and we need your help creating lifesaving space before the July intake surge.
From Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28, adoption fees will be waived for all dogs and cats 6 months and older at both Cincinnati Animal CARE locations, through eligible foster homes, and at participating PetSmart adoption events.
We especially encourage visitors to stop by our Dane Avenue campus at 4210 Dane Avenue, where more than 200 dogs and cats are currently waiting for homes.

• Adult dogs and cats (6+ months) are $0 to adopt
• Same-day adoptions available with a valid state ID
Adoption Includes
• Spay/neuter surgery
• Microchip
• Age-appropriate vaccinations
• Starter resources and support
• Free dog training support for dog adopters
Adoption Costs
• $5 service fee per adoption
• $19.75 Hamilton County dog license required for county residents adopting a dog
Last weekend alone, 89 animals entered our care while 61 found homes. With fireworks season and summer stray intake approaching, every adoption helps create critical space for animals who will need us in the weeks ahead.
