This special concert will be presented in two exciting halves:
✨ First Half – A Celebration of Film & Feel-Good Favourites
We’ll open the afternoon/evening with a sparkling selection of well-known songs and movie favourites, including show-stopping numbers featuring our fantastic guest vocalists:
🎤 Charlotte Laity - Helston’s angelic voice ✨️
🎤 Jack Curnow – From the mighty Oggymen 💪
Expect big tunes, familiar melodies, and plenty of toe-tapping moments before we head to the moon…
🎥 Second Half – Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out (with live brass soundtrack!)
In the second half, enjoy Nick Park’s much-loved Aardman classic on the big screen, with Helston Town Band performing the soundtrack live.

For anyone new to the adventure: when Wallace realises he’s run out of cheese, he decides there’s only one logical solution — build a rocket in the basement and take a trip to the moon (because “everybody knows the moon’s made of cheese!”). But their lunar expedition doesn’t go quite to plan, as they encounter a coin-operated robot with plans of his own… 🚀🌕
It’s charming, funny, nostalgic — and even more magical with a live brass band soundtrack.
