However donations are welcomed towards materials, refreshments and there will be a tin for those wishing to.
A Patron Vigil at the House of Blackthorn Temple
As twilight descends and the world grows quiet, we gather in sacred fellowship before the Blackthorn Flame to honour Cernunnos, Lord of Wild Things, Guardian of Nature, Keeper of Abundance, and Protector of the Sacred Land.
This Patron Vigil is an opportunity to step away from the noise of daily life and enter the deep green mysteries of the Wild. Together we shall honour the Horned One through prayer, meditation, blessing, and community as we celebrate his place within the sacred cycle of the Blackthorn Temple Year.
Throughout the evening we will gather around the shrine of Cernunnos, offering our gratitude for the abundance of the Earth, the wisdom of the forest, and the creatures who share this world with us.
The Vigil will include:

🕯 Opportunity to Leave Prayers, Petitions and Offerings at the Shrine
🍯 Cakes, Ale and Fellowship
As part of the Vigil, participants are invited to bring a small offering for the altar if they wish. Suitable offerings may include acorns, leaves, pine cones, apples, oats, honey, flowers, or written prayers for the land.
Whether you have walked beside Cernunnos for many years or are simply curious to experience the presence of the Green Lord, you are warmly welcome.

Please note: The Vigil is intended for adults and older teens and includes ceremonial and meditative elements. Family activities and children's crafts take place during the daytime Patron Day celebration.
