Rock The Row: Thursday Night Paddle + Concert Float
π Northshore Park
2505 Lake Woodlands Dr
The Woodlands, TX 77380
π Meetup: 6:00 PM
π Date: Thursday, July 9, 2026
πΆ Live Music: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hughes Landing Band Shell
Hey SUP Crew!
This Thursday kicks off the first of 5 Thursday night Rock The Row free concert floats, and this is easily one of our groupβs most popular events of the summer. ππΆβ¨
There is just something special about paddling across Lake Woodlands, anchoring near Hughes Landing, glowing on the water, and enjoying free live music with the crew.
For our first concert float of the season, we are paddling out to catch Leslie Lugo, bringing Latin rhythm, high energy vocals, and feel good variety music from the water. This is the kind of show that makes you want to dance, float, sing along, and light up the lake with the crew. πβ¨
β οΈ BYOG Paddle!
Bring your board, paddle, PFD, and lights. No rentals, just our crew, our gear, and good times. All levels welcome!
π Floatilla Setup Reminder:
Please bring a clip on bungee cord, tie line, or small anchor if you have one. This helps us connect boards together safely and build our famous massive floatilla.
That floating setup is what creates our groupβs concert viewing area on the water. Once we link up, we can relax, listen to the music, snack, glow, and enjoy the show together like one big paddle crew island. πβ¨πΆ
π€ This Weekβs Headliner: Leslie Lugo
Playing Latin and Variety at Rock the Row this Thursday, July 9, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Why Sheβs a Crowd Favorite:
Leslie Lugo is a powerhouse bilingual recording artist known for her dynamic voice, high energy stage presence, and ability to move between Latin, Pop, Rock, R&B, Jazz, Tejano, Mariachi, and tropical dance music.
She is a 6 time Grammy and Latin Grammy nominated vocalist and a Grammy winning songwriter, giving this Rock the Row night a true professional concert feel right here on Lake Woodlands.
Her band brings a huge variety of music, including Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata, Latin dance hits, Top 40, Pop, Rock, R&B, Jazz, Tejano, Mariachi, and more. That means this show should have something for everyone.
Expect fun Latin energy, smooth vocals, danceable rhythms, and a summer concert vibe that will carry beautifully across the water. This is the perfect night for glowing boards, floating speakers, fun drinks, and a crew full of good energy. πΆππ

There is nothing like night paddling on Lake Woodlands with live music floating across the water. The glow from Hughes Landing, the music bouncing off the lake, and our neon lit SUP crew all together makes this one of the most fun and memorable events we do.
π’ Reminder: No rentals. BYOG paddle only.
Letβs launch the Rock The Row summer concert float series the right way, light up Thursday night, welcome summer, and float into the Leslie Lugo Latin Variety concert as only The Woodlands Paddle Crew can. πβ¨πΆ
π Safety, Visibility & Personal Responsibility:

β’ Everyone participates at their own risk and is fully responsible for themselves, their own gear, their own safety, and their own comfort level on the water
β’ Please know your limits and only paddle if you feel confident in your ability to safely launch, paddle, float, return, and self rescue if needed
β’ At least 1 clip on night light per board is required
β’ LED underglows make it safer and more fun
β’ PFD must be worn or securely attached to your board
β’ If connecting boards, use safe tie points and avoid creating trip hazards or tangled lines
β’ Stay aware of other paddlers, kayaks, boats, docks, and shoreline traffic
β’ Paddle at your own comfort level and stay close to the group if you are newer
β’ We are a friendly crew and we look out for each other, but each paddler is responsible for making safe choices for themselves
