Dear Á BÓM Weekender and Mr. & Miss Angola Canada community,We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to let you know that the Á BÓM Weekender and the Mr. & Miss Angola Canada event, originally scheduled for September 4th to the 6th, will be postponed to next year.The reason for this postponement is that our letter to the First Nation community was returned, and they have kindly asked for additional time to engage with us. We want to ensure that we create an event that is truly meaningful and inclusive, so we will be rescheduling to make it a wonderful and memorable experience for everyone.We'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our VIPs who purchased their tickets in advance. We sold 20 VIP tickets and around 65 general admission tickets. We are pleased to let you know that the majority of general tickets have been returned, and for those VIP and VVIP guests who requested to transfer their tickets to next year's event, we are more than happy to do so.We believe this extra time will help us make the event even more amazing. Winners receive:
Crowns & titles, ambassador roles, media features, mentorship, and the opportunity to represent Canada at the official Mr & Miss Angola competition in Angola.
The night ends with a concert + after‑party, followed by dancing until 6 AM.
