🇦🇴 A BOM Weekender & Mr. & Miss Angola Canada Competition 2026
Labour Day Long Weekend | September 4–6, 2026 | Toronto, Canada
🎉 Event Overview
A BOM Weekender is a three‑day cultural celebration bringing the vibrant spirit of Angola to Canada. Taking place over the Labour Day long weekend, this festival unites the Angolan community and friends of Angola through gastronomy, dance, music, fashion, art, workshops, and live entertainment.
Each night, the celebration continues with all‑night dancing until 6 AM, powered by an exciting lineup of local and international DJs spinning Kizomba, Semba, Kuduro, Afro‑house, and more.
During the day, attendees can participate in cultural workshops led by our official Cultural Ambassadors, offering education, connection, and hands‑on experiences rooted in Angolan heritage.
The highlight of the weekend is the Mr. & Miss Angola Canada Competition, a prestigious cultural pageant open to individuals of Angolan descent living in Canada. Winners will proudly represent the Angolan‑Canadian community on the international stage in Angola.
This is more than an event — it’s a celebration of identity, heritage, and unity.
