Some of the best meals of your life were not the ones that went to plan. The sauce split. The music was too loud. Someone stayed three hours past the last course. That is the night we are building.
The fourth installment of the Maahaul supper club series is an ode to imperfect parties — to recipes that taste better because a grandmother measured with her hands, to decor that mirrors the mess we all carry, and to the kind of company that makes leaving feel like a mistake.
What the night looks like
Four courses, each one an argument for excess over restraint. Five rounds of cocktails, poured the way they're actually drunk in Mexico — sipped slowly, taken seriously, never rushed. Art on the walls, music in the room, and a table of strangers who won't be strangers by dessert.
Maahaul is the Urdu word for atmosphere — the feeling a room has before anyone explains it. That's what we're chasing. Come celebrate the atmosphere of atmosphere.
