About this Event

Wojtek Cackowski
Degrees in Sport Education & Physiotherapy and is a board-certified ATSI (formerly KMI) Structural Integration Practitioner) and creator of ZOGA Multidimensional Movement from Poland.

Ready to move & groove? Come experience the ZOGA Movement in person! ZOGA is a 4D movement concept that combines Yoga Asanas (poses) with human biomechanics and structural integration principles. That stem from a lineage of Ida Rolf's Structural Integration, who influenced individuals such as Toma Myers (Anatomy Trains), Sharon Wheeler (Bone & Scar Work), and James Earl (aithor of"Born to Walk,Myofascial Efficiency and the Body in Movement"), amongst other mentors whom had great influence on Wojtek's creation of ZOGA Multidimensional Movement.
It's all about feeling good, flowing freely, and connecting with your body in a fun, relaxed vibe. Whether you're new or curious, this intro session is your chance to dive in and discover something fresh. No pressure, just good energy and movement.

Don't miss out – let's get moving together!

Join the ZOGA Movement Introduction in:

ZOGA: Zoga is a stretching and strengthening practice based on yoga asanas using Anatomy Trains Structural Integration principles. Zoga is specifically designed to increase the freedom of glide between myofascial layers of the body.

The human body is designed to move from our center of gravity into all available directions. Zoga includes all these possibilities in assessment and therapy.

Zoga Movement Introduction allows you to:

  • Bodyread where lack of glide and ‘give’ are occurring in the body
  • Use movement to elicit efficient and balanced movement
  • Achieve a balanced and ‘minimum energy’ resting posture and more efficient in movement
  • Achieve more balance in movement and how forces are distributed along tensegrity system of the body

In this 3-day Zoga introductory workshop you will learn:

  • How myofascial layers move on each other in stretch
  • How Anatomy Trains Lines adapt to stretching
  • How specific positioning within asana creates fascial stretch and gliding challenges
  • Visual assessment of posture and movement that lead to new intervention strategies
  • How to help students / clients find stand open those obscure and stubborn ‘corners’ in the moving body

Zoga Movement® Introduction

About the Method:

Zoga® is a dynamic movement method that evolved from Wojciech Cackowski’s extensive exploration over the past decade into the transformative potential of the human body’s structure and function. Confronted with the challenges of scoliosis, Cackowski sought effective techniques to address the functional issues associated with this distinct postural pattern. His journey led to the integration of Structural Integration principles from Anatomy Trains®, visceral osteopathic therapies, joint mobilization techniques, and the meticulous application of yoga asanas. This holistic approach not only alleviated the symptoms of scoliosis but also significantly moderated the postural distortions associated with it.

The culmination of these experiences resulted in the creation of Zoga®, a method centered on the spatial reorganization of the body. This reorganization fosters a more efficient postural pattern that harmonizes with gravity, facilitating the seamless transmission of forces and loads throughout the body. The outcome is enhanced ease of movement and a profound sense of bodily comfort.

Designed for anyone seeking freedom and heightened awareness in movement and posture, Zoga® offers a unique exploration in four dimensions (4D). It challenges every possible relationship of the body to gravity and generates numerous global and local movement vectors accessible within the body. Utilizing the map of Anatomy Trains®, Zoga® directs biomechanical interventions around the fascia’s tensegrity system. Yoga asanas are employed as functional tests and positions that create varying pull vectors between different fascial layers. Zoga® aims to support and achieve the objectives of Structural Integration, promoting enduring changes in the organization of the musculoskeletal-fascial system.

This method is not only a tool for self-exploration and personal development but also serves as a powerful modality for movement practitioners, offering deep insights and practical techniques for guiding others toward balanced and efficient movement patterns.

Forms of Zoga:

  • Self-exploration journey: Individual self-education through educational materials and personal experience.
  • Group movement classes: Led by a certified Zoga Movement® Practitioner.
  • One-on-one sessions: With a professionally trained Zoga Movement® Therapist.

In Practice, Zoga Teaches:

  • The skill of reading the body and identifying restrictions in fascial glide.
  • Using and directing movement to achieve efficient and balanced functioning in gravity.
  • Balancing the body and minimizing the energy required to stay at rest and in motion.
  • Enhancing body balance in movement and the way forces are distributed within the body’s tensegrity system.

During the 3-day Training, You Will Learn:

  • How individual fascial layers influence each other.
  • The pathways of fascial lines according to the Anatomy Trains® concept.
  • How different positions affect tension and fascial glide.
  • How to create new intervention strategies based on visual postural and functional assessments.
  • How to help your students overcome movement restrictions in their bodies.
  • How to manually intervene in training/sessions.

Training Program:

Day 1:

  • Welcome participants.
