About this Event
YUM! is a group exhibition at Central Saint Martins featuring 13 artists, exploring how taste is shaped by individual choice, collective presence, and the environments we live in. Across painting, illustraions, and fashion (object-based practices), each artist presents a distinct visual language, reflecting our shifting relationship to in our living enviroment. These different expressions come together in one shared environment, showing that taste is formed through how we associate ourselves with people, places, and materials. At the entrance, a multi-part cake installation introduces this idea in physical form, while a self-assembled catering setup invites visitors to select and combine elements themselves. This act of choosing begins the exhibition, revealing how personal preferences accumulate, overlap, and coexist within a living environment shaped by both urban life and nature.
The exhibition was curated by NOAS (No Art Special) Collective.
About the Curator: NOAS (No Art Special) is an international art and fashion collective founded in 2018.
Headquartered in South Korea with an active presence in London, NOAS develops locally led exhibitions and cross-cultural collaborations across cities. Since its founding, NOAS has maintained a continuous programme of activity, including a monthly online art magazine published consistently since 2018. The collective has realised 17 group exhibitions in public and independent spaces, alongside two independent mini fashion shows.
NOAS brings together artists, designers, and curators from diverse cultural backgrounds to develop projects collaboratively. Each exhibition is shaped through shared discussion and material exchange, allowing different practices to exist side by side rather than being categorised by discipline or nationality. NOAS has also collaborated with Role of Bridge (ROB) - an international exhibition platform connecting emerging artists across Asia and Europe, extending its network beyond regional boundaries. While the curatorial direction remains consistent, the artists and collaborators shift according to each project, allowing the collective to remain flexible while maintaining a clear identity.
