Join Wild Place Adventures for an evening dedicated to one of the most iconic hunts in the Yukon — the moose hunt.This hands-on workshop will help you plan your hunt and prepare for success in Yukon’s rugged terrain. Whether you’re new to moose hunting or looking to refine your skills, you’ll walk away with valuable tools, tips, and knowledge to hunt ethically and sustainably.
Topics include:
🟢 Planning your hunt in Yukon’s unique terrain
🟢 Moose hunting strategies for early, peak, and late season
🟢 Ethical and sustainable harvesting practices
🟢 Equipment recommendations and field gear overview
🟢 Field dressing, meat care, and transportation tips
This session is built by Yukoners, for Yukoners — packed with real stories, practical insight, and a respect for the land and wildlife that define life here.
You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with other local hunters, share stories, and maybe even find your next moose hunting partner. There’s something powerful about learning together and building a network of like-minded outdoorspeople.
💰 Cost: $25 per adult
👨👩👧👦 Kids under 12 are free — but please let us know if they’re attending so we can plan seating accordingly.
