YTAA First Anniversary & Taoist Cultural Exchange Event
About this Event
Celebrate the First Anniversary of the Yangzhu Taoist Association of America with an afternoon of Taoist culture, traditional Chinese heritage, wellness practices, and community connection in the heart of Manhattan.
This special public event offers an opportunity to explore the traditions, philosophy, and living culture of Taoism through exhibits, presentations, interactive activities, and cultural exchange. Whether you are new to Taoism or simply interested in learning more about Chinese culture, all are welcome.
Guests will have the opportunity to view traditional Taoist robes and ritual artifacts, learn about Taoist approaches to wellness and healthy living, participate in a traditional handmade sachet workshop, and engage with community leaders, cultural representatives, and fellow attendees.
The program will conclude with a traditional blessing ceremony and group photo.
