Welcome everyone to Youtopia Sober Social at The Yard Coffee Youtopia Community is a creative, conscious, wellness space where you can find connection, fun and meaning. We make fun, chemical free, accessible events for adults including sober socials, sober raves, play retreats, silent disco's, supper clubs, days out and more. We are here to nourish your soul! Our last gathering was the most beautiful yet! Join us as we emergence into spring with our growing community.With Mocktails, Sound Healing Meditation, DJ's, Sensory Decor, Chill Out Space, Tarot Readings, Wellness Tasters, Mini Massage and Human Design Readings in the Cosmic Living Room. Interact with the Manifestation Station where you can network, share Swaps, Collabs and more. The Community Notice Board is always open (bring your flyers)
We open with a sound mediation and a little ceremony helping to ground you into the space. If you are feeling anxious or emotional in any way, this is a deeply soothing way to regulate your nerves and relax before the social. Connecting you to yourself and the community. (Optional Ticket) Ground cushions, rugs, chairs and some sofa seating are available bring a blanket/shawl/ yoga matt if you prefer for extra comfort.
We have Sobriety Coach Georgia Hatful with us too should anyone need a little extra support on the night.
The MEDITATION 6.30pm for 6.45pm start. Live voice healing from the magical Katja Naia will transport you into the sacred, soothing your soul into deep heart centred relaxation. The session will last around 30 mins. Please respect the quiet and stillness in this time to support everyone's experience in the most wholesome way.
7.45pm The SOCIAL. Arrive and land in the space with an open heart and mind. Music will be gentle and chilled for the first 45 mins for people to chat and connect. We host and invite optional, light hearted interaction to get you aquatinted with some new faces before the dance floor opens.
8.45pm - 10.30 pm The DANCE Our eclectic mix of DJ's play everything to make you feel good and bring the energy! From classics we all love, house music, afrobeats, garage, world music, funk, and so much more . Warming up to some more underground electronic bass for a little release in the second half ! DJ's to be announced soon....!
10.30pm Close. Group Hug. Swap numbers. Shimmy off into the night, hearts full.
