YouthCon is a live leadership and confidence-building experience designed to help students develop communication skills, strengthen focus, build confidence, and grow into intentional leaders in today’s world.

This is not another lecture-style event.YouthCon was created to give students a real-world growth experience through leadership training, interactive workshops, communication challenges, team activities, media opportunities, and live engagement throughout the day.

Students will be challenged to think bigger, communicate better, build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and take ownership of their future in an energetic, encouraging, and growth-focused environment.

This experience is designed to help students step outside their comfort zone while developing practical life and leadership skills they can apply immediately at home, in school, in sports, in business, and in everyday life.

Matthew Adkins is a speaker, leadership strategist, author, and founder of YouthCon and The Leadership Climb — a leadership development platform focused on helping students and leaders build confidence, communication skills, leadership habits, and real-world life skills.

Matthew has led teams of more than 150 people across business, nonprofit, operational, and organizational environments and is known for his high-energy teaching style and practical, real-world leadership approach.

He is a Zig Ziglar Certified Speaker and Coach, selected as 1 of only 12 speakers from more than 50,000 applicants worldwide. His leadership and communication training has been taught to executives, entrepreneurs, students, teams, and organizations connected to brands such as Coca-Cola, AT&T, Dell, American Airlines, and Mary Kay.

Matthew’s work and leadership insights have been featured on ABC, NBC, FOX, and Business Insider, where he has become known for his focus on leadership, communication, confidence, execution, and personal growth.

In addition to YouthCon, Matthew serves in church leadership as Executive and has spent years mentoring students, coaching teams, leading organizations, and helping people develop confidence, communication skills, discipline, and leadership in everyday life.
