Get ready for a day of fun, giving, and making a REAL difference in our community! Join us for our Community Day of Service in Maplewood at the NALC Hall on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, from 10:00am - Noon.Your Lions Club representatives hosting this event will be from: Maplewood North, Maplewood Oakdale, North St. Paul, St. Paul East Parks, St. Paul East Side, St. Paul, St. Paul East Metro Branch Lions Clubs.
Bring the whole family and take part in a variety of exciting, hands-on projects to help those in need! It’s all free, and there’s something for everyone:
Snack Baggies for the Unhoused: Help make snack bags of food to brighten someone’s day.
Eco-Friendly Seed Pots: Get your hands dirty while making fun seed pots that help the planet! You can take one home, too!
Fleece Lap Blankets for Children’s Masonic Hospital: Create cozy blankets for young patients.
Placemats for Meals on Wheels: Add a personal touch by decorating placemats for home-delivered meals.
Hypoglycemia Kits: Pack helpful kits for people with diabetes who need a little extra care.
It’s not just about the projects—it’s about making memories while giving back! Let’s come together to support those who need it most and be heroes in our community. We can’t wait to see you there! In addition to projects we will also be offering free Kid Sight Vision screenings.
