Young Naturalist Explorers: Fun with Odonates

Join Mead Botanical Garden's Young Naturalist Explorers class, Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 9:30am to discover the world of dragonflies and damselflies! Hike through the wetlands to learn about their incredible "superpowers," experiment with perching heights, decoys, and flight patterns, and create a journey stick using natural materials collected along the way.
What to bring? Water, binoculars, blanket/chair, closed-toe shoes/boots, and of course your sense of curiosity.
