On Erev Yom HaShoah, we gather in sacred remembrance.
Together we will honor the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and the countless lives and communities destroyed by hatred.
This year’s observance centers on a brief but deeply meaningful musical program led by Cantor Danielle Rodnizki and Cantor Shira Lissek. Through music connected directly to the Holocaust era and its legacy, we will encounter the voices of Jewish history in one of the ways they most powerfully endured.
The program will include songs written or sung in ghettos and camps, music preserved by survivors, and compositions created in response to the Shoah. Along the way, Cantors Rodnizki and Lissek will share historical context — helping us understand when and where this music was sung, who carried it forward, and why it continues to matter.
Jewish tradition teaches zachor — remember. In lifting these melodies, we honor not only those who were lost, but also the resilience of the Jewish spirit and our sacred responsibility to bear witness.
All are welcome to join us as we gather in community, memory, and song.
Advance registration is required for security and capacity planning.
