Yoga Support for Hypermobility (M1, M2)

• When: Once a week on Mondays from 1:15pm-2:15pm, from August 19 - September 30, 2024 (no class on Labor Day, September 2)
• Where: In-person at The Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt (3401 West End Ave, Suite 380, Nashville TN, 37203)

Yoga Support for Hypermobility is a 6-week class series designed for those with Hypermobility Syndrome, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and other conditions. This in-person class offering facilitates safe movements within a student's own range so, that the fear and anxiety associated with moving can be eased. Specific intents include slowly building stability and strength, practicing calming breathing, and increasing one’s trust in their own system.

All Osher Movement Classes are facilitated by an instructor with experience and specific training working with participants with chronic pain and conditions.

This class has combined suitability codes and intentions listed below (see image). Appropriate for those sharing the same goal with different abilities and movement experience.

This in person class will occur at the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt. We are located at 3401 West End Avenue, Suite 380, Nashville TN 37203. Parking is behind the building. We will provide parking validation. The building is owned by Highwoods Properties, and it looks like a corporate office. Participants may cancel up to one week before start date without penalty, after that date, there is a 20% cancellation fee. No refund is available after the class start date.
