Join Diana on Friday, April 4th at 6:45p for a yoga nidra practice to shed the cold and welcome the warmth during the change of seasons.
Let go of the heavy energy from the winter and welcome in the fresh, light, nourishing energy of Spring!
Take some time to relax and reset for the new season! Join Diana for this relaxing 45 minute session of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is similar to a guided meditation in that your only job is to get comfortable and listen to the guide, however, unlike meditation, Yoga Nidra mimics the brainwaves of REM sleep, creating a deeply restorative impact. Yoga Nidra (also known as yogic sleep) can recharge your body and help you experience a deep restorative relaxation. This is an immensely powerful technique, a paradoxical state of being between sleep and consciousness that's conducive to deep emotional and physical healing, rewiring your brain, and self-exploration. All levels welcome! No experience with yoga or meditation required.
You can bring water, your mat or we will provide a zero-gravity chair for your comfort and wear comfy clothes and socks.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided for after the event and you are welcome to BYOB.
