Yoga Nidra & Chill (Summer Dreams Edition)

Please join us for Yoga Nidra & Chill at Dwell Community Space in Washington, DC. Come as you are and experience deep rest, peace, and gentle healing in community.

You will be guided through a 30-45 minute nidra meditation.

We will set up "nidra nests" with yoga mats, pillows, masks, and blankets to prepare. We will then transition to a "wakeful sleep", a state of active non-doing to let our body do what it does best, heal and harmonize.

Yoga Nidra is a meditation technique that harnesses the biological process of sleep for a spiritual purpose. Using a series of breath, body, and awareness techniques, Yoga Nidra consciously follows the brainwaves down towards sleep where thoughts naturally distance themselves. Here we can easily enter the gap between us and our thoughts and reestablish the experiential knowing that we are more than what the mind thinks."

After the nidra, we will transition to community connection & integration time. Light snacks and activities will be provided. Weather permitting, we can enjoy the gorgeous rooftop. No pressure to stay and connect. Come as you are, leave when you want. Dwell is a hidden gem, a completely self sustainable and off-grid oasis. It is a vortex of inspirational community energy and sustained with love.
