Join the Zia Community for Yoga in the Park! Offered in Partnership with West Whiteland Township, this class is held weekly at Exton Park on Saturdays at 10:30 AM from June 14th - August 23rd.* LOCATION: Exton Park, Northwest Parking Lot, 611 Swedesford Rd, Exton, PA 19341 Our practice space is to the left of the parking lot and playground areas along the tree line. Look for the green Yoga in the Park signs.
* PAYMENT: $15 paid online in advance
* RAIN POLICY: In the event of inclement weather, the class will be moved to our studio at 321 E Lincoln Highway in Exton (about 3 minutes from the park) via email or text SMS no later than 1 hour before the start time. Please check your email and phone before heading to the park.
* CLASS DESCRIPTION: This slower-paced, grounding practice builds strength, balance, flexibility, and self-awareness through accessible movements, standing and seated postures, supported balances, gentle heart openers, twists, and forward bends, ending with deep relaxation.
*ACCESSIBILITY: Zia Yoga & Wellness is a diverse community of beginners, experienced students, and every body in between. Classes are taught with intention and are accessible to all levels of practitioners.
There is accessible parking, bathrooms, and water fountains available onsite. Class is held under the pavilion, a short walk over flat but varied terrain from the parking lot (.15 miles / 2 minutes walk) just in front of the two playgrounds.
*WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and a filled water bottle. Additionally, you may want to bring a large blanket or towel to place under your mat, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and an additional towel to use as a prop.
