Hello Chester County Friends!I donated my left kidney to someone who needed it more than me -a stranger! And one of the post-donation results has been this urgent desire to tell everyone about living kidney donation.
I think more people would consider donating if they knew that they could dramatically improve someone’s life with something they had and may not need (and you don’t have to be related to or even know the recipient!) I will spare you the “pitch”, but I am volunteering with 2 organizations setting up a 5k in September to raise awareness about living kidney donation. We are calling it the “Share Your Spare 5k”.
I am wondering if there are any businesses who might be interested in sponsorship of this event? I have a complete package describing the opportunities I can share if interested. The first level is $500.
