Yoga for Seniors

The Flint Public Library invites you to join us for Senior Chair Yoga taught by 200-HR Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor & Crim Mindfulness Initiative team member Elizabeth Wise and Crim Mindfulness Fellow & 200-HR Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor Canisha Bell at 12pm Wednesday, April 17-June 5th at the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library.

During the 8-week series, you will be guided into seated and standing movements and using the chair for support in a way that is soft and gentle but also really supportive and strength-building.

Transportation / Parking Information/ Accessibility:

Flint Public Library is family-friendly, conveniently located, and accessible by public transportation. Please visit the Mass Transit Authority to plan your bus route. The closest stop on the primary Route #6 Lewis --Selby is Kearsley and Crapo, a 3- minute walk from the building. If you have your own transportation, the Flint Public Library has marked accessible parking spaces in the lot, two of which are extra wide to accommodate a transport van. The south entrance from the parking lot is fully accessible through curb cuts and gentle slopes. The Kearsley Street doors are accessible through a gently sloping path up and across the terrace to the entry doors. Both entrances have automatic doors.
