About this Event

Are there things you don’t love about life? Have you built walls to “protect” yourself that led to pain and isolation? Yoga is an inward path to the depth of love that can hold EVERYTHING.In this workshop we’ll explore how to release resistance towards our own emotions, thoughts, and “mistakes” and remember the sacredness of all experiences.Expect conversation, deep connection, laughter and a sense of truly belonging as we explore practices that help you open your heart to all of life.Monday June 22nd | 7:00 - 8:45pm | $40, sliding scale as needed.All are welcome.No asanas. Bring yourself in comfortable clothes, a journal, pen and water.

A portion of your ticket goes to support rare disease initiatives.

BIO:Sam is a life long learner doing her best to live with courage and an open heart. In 2012 she walked into her home and a little voice whispered “sell all your possessions and get out of your lease.” She followed that direction which led her to study yoga wisdom, dance, meditation and breath-work around the world. She's lived in yoga ashrams, studied flamenco dance in Spain, taught children in Africa and was eventually led to her teacher Sri Dharma Mittra.Sam has served as a mentor in the Dharma Yoga Life of a Yogi Teacher Training program for the past 7 years and created the Abhyasa Living Yoga Teacher Training program. She studies intensively with Eckhart Tolle and Byron Katie and is a certified Wayfinder Coach through Martha Beck. She combines these tools in workshops and private coaching sessions to help students access greater self-love, authenticity and intuition.Sam shares stories and inspirations with heart and humour and has a gift for making challenging concepts easier to understand. She truly believes love is the power that will heal the world.
