YIN YOGA *SATURDAY MORNING* @ Lighthouse Community Yoga PDX

Come cultivate a quiet practice with profound depth @ YIN YOGA *SATURDAY MORNING*. Postures are held for time — often 3–8 minutes — to gently stress the body’s deeper connective tissues: ligaments, fascia, and joints. Through stillness and sustained sensation, we stimulate the flow of Qi (energy), enhance joint mobility, and invite introspection.
This weekly class offers a balance to more active (Yang) practices. While this is a passive practice, it is not Restorative yoga — *YIN* invites you to meet sensation and mild stress to support long-term mobility and energetic balance.
Suitable for *ALL LEVELS*, this is an opportunity to turn inward, befriend your body, and foster patience, presence, and quiet strength.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Rachel Walsh has been teaching yoga full-time since 2004, with over 60,000 hours of experience and advanced certifications in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Nidra, and trauma-informed care. Rachel is an 800-hr RYT, 500hr+ E-RYT and YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider), originally trained by Yogacharya Eric Wal.
"My classes blend tradition with creativity—offering grounded, accessible practices for real people navigating real life. No cookie-cutter flows. No pressure to perform. Just accessible, empowering yoga for every kind of human. Expect strength and softness, clear cueing, and space to be exactly as you are. I can’t wait to meet you!" ~ Rachel
