Yin Yoga is a slow and deeply nourishing yoga practice. Designed to support the joints as well as the ligaments and tendons in the body, we sink into each pose, resting there for 3-5 minutes.
All postures are floor based as we hold them for much longer than a Hatha based practice, and we typically only practice about 5-7 postures per class.
I recommend a yoga bolster or at least cushions and blankets for this class, as there is little movement and you want to support the body as much as possible.
Yoga Nidra is a complete relaxation practice.
Bring a blanket and your cosiest clothes and spend some time enjoying this deep meditative practice.
