About this Event
Yin Yoga. Approaching the Functional Teacher Training
with Sasy Cacace
“Yin Yoga: Approaching the Functional” is a Yoga Teacher Training with Sasy Cacace designed to guide you into a practical, embodied, and intelligent exploration of structure, variation, and biomechanics. This training goes beyond Yin Yoga alone. It shows how functional principles apply to all Yoga practices, helping you move away from rigid shapes and toward skillful, adaptable teaching rooted in real bodies.
👉 This training is recognized by Yoga Alliance as a Continuing Education program (20 hours with YACEP teacher)
In “Yin Yoga: Approaching the Functional Teacher Training” you will learn:
🧠 Anatomy for All Yoga Practices ⚠️ This is not “Yin-only anatomy.”
The anatomy taught in Yin Yoga: Approaching the Functional is functional, experiential, and universal.
It applies to every form of Yoga — Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Restorative, Yin.
🔍 Anatomy through movement, load, and sensation, not memorization.
This means you’ll understand how bodies actually work in practice, regardless of pace, style, or pose name. You will learn how to set an intention for each pose by targeting a specific area and how to cultivate the attention to feel sensation to adapt the practice to your uniqueness and learn how to teach to feel it and not to look good at it. A practical, experiential anatomy you can immediately apply to any Yoga class. You will understand how to assess bodies with curiosity and safety
