About this Event

Launch Art Installations

Members of the public can engage with two interactive art installations at One Holland Village from 11 to 20 August 2026.

  • KaleidosHOPE is a specially designed mirror installation that explores how perspectives can change when viewed from different angles. Visitors are encouraged to capture creative mirror selfies and share them on social media to spread awareness of second chances. Visitors who share photos on their social media will receive a special gift.
  • Puzzles of HOPE features four inmate artworks transformed into interactive puzzles. As visitors complete each puzzle, they symbolically demonstrate how every individual has a role to play in building a more accepting and inclusive society.

Art Exhibition

The YRCAF 2026 Art Exhibition will be held at an outdoor public space at One Holland Village from 14 to 20 August 2026 and will be accessible to the public throughout the exhibition period. The exhibition will showcase more than 60 artworks produced by inmate and desistor artists.

Weekend Programme

Over the weekend, visitors can enjoy live music performances by the AMPLIFY SG Band.

Visitors can also participate in a series of free hands-on art workshops conducted by Green Haven Halfway House and Rise Above Halfway House, featuring activities such as decoupage and henna painting.

Collaboration with Singapore Night Festival

A public art installation will be on display at the Singapore Night Festival, from 21 August to 5 September 2026 near the Singapore Management University lawn, inviting visitors to pause, reflect and engage with the spirit of second chances.

Inspired by the concept of layered perspectives within a community, the installation reflects how individuals may be seen in fragments through different viewpoints. When these layers come together to form a unified whole, the structure symbolises a shared perspective rooted in understanding, acceptance, and support.
