Writing Moderation Year 5 (Tiverton)

This session is designed to help you understand the moderation process and know how to apply this process to moderate writing.
About this Event

This session will enable you to:

• confidently assess children, within a moderation process, against age related expectations and explore greater depth
• know the quality, quantity and independence of writing evidence required

These events will provide an opportunity for supported peer moderation and will include the chance for teachers to secure understanding of the standards and gain confidence on key areas they are looking for.

Teachers will work in small groups,with guidance and following a rigorous process, to moderate writing. All teachers will need to bring all the writing from three children: one on track to achieve WTS, one on track to achieve EXS and one on track to achieve GDS (we may not have time to look at all of the pupils you bring, but it would be useful to have the option to select on the day).

• 6 days or less to date of event: No refund available (plus £25 admin fee)

Should a training course recruit insufficient numbers to make it viable, we reserve the right to cancel the course, without penalty, giving minimum notice of 24 hours.
