Get ready to go Out Of This World as we unlock the secrets of capturing the stunning beauty of the Milky Way! Special guest presenter Warren Hatch. This exciting and hands-on workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to take their night sky photography to the next level. We’ll dive deep into the technical AND creative aspects of photographing the stars—because it’s not just about getting the exposure right. It’s about creating awe-inspiring images through thoughtful composition, planning, and execution. You’ll learn how to master camera settings for low-light photography, reduce noise, and compose images that stand out from the ordinary. Using tools like PhotoPills and other planning apps, we’ll show you how to scout the perfect location, align your shot with celestial events, and time your session for optimal conditions.

Then later that evening, once the sun goes down, we’ll hit the road for a local field trip under the stars! This real-world experience will help you apply everything from the classroom—right out in the field with guidance and support. Whether you’re new to astro photography or want to refine your skills, this workshop will leave you saying WOW! every time you look up at the night sky.
