Join Trinity United Church of Christ Young Adults and New Sound Café for Worship Unchained: A Juneteenth House Music Celebration—an afternoon of faith, freedom, fellowship, and community rooted in the liberating spirit of Juneteenth.

This gathering brings together the South Side and West Side of Chicago in celebration of our collective freedom journey. Through the sounds of house music, meaningful connection, and community engagement, we will create space to honor the past, celebrate the present, and imagine a freer future together.

As a symbol of community and connection, coffee will serve as a gathering point as we build relationships across neighborhoods, stories, and experiences. Guests will have opportunities to connect with organizations doing freedom work on the ground, access community resources, and participate in voter registration efforts that help strengthen our collective power.

More than an event, this is a declaration that a new generation is living into the rhythm of freedom. Young adults are cultivating communities rooted in love, faith, justice, and liberation—and this celebration is an invitation to be part of that movement.
