About this Event

Get on the bus tour and experience something hot, something cold, something savory, and something sweet while exploring the dynamic legacy of America’s Great Migration – South Side style in Chicago’s Obama Presidential District. The flavors of traditional southern cooking and Chitown global infusions are represented in our evolving “Guide To Black Chicago Eats” which tour registrants receive to support their other moveable feasting! The healing power of food and stocking of the ‘wellness kitchen’ blend just fine with your fried and smothered favorites in this culinary journey to Black-owned eateries ~ including stops with a Bronzeville winery, a Woodlawn grower-chef, and a South Shore al fresco favorite. Tour times: Launching Juneteenth ~ Friday June 19, 2026 – Friday & Saturday 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm; Sunday 9am- 12pm.
