Subject: We're growing something on June 19 — and we need you
On Friday, June 19, we're holding STILL WE GREW — our first Juneteenth celebration right here on the farm. It's free, it's for the whole community, and it only happens if we build it together.
That's where you come in.
We're looking for 12 to 15 volunteers to help the day run with love and ease — welcoming folks at the gate, guiding children through hands-on activities, serving the communal meal, and helping us set up and break down. No experience needed. If you can carry a tray, welcome a stranger, or hand a child a seed, you're qualified.
Here's the shape of the day:
- Set-up crew: 8:00–10:00 AM
- During the event: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM (full or half shifts welcome)
- Tear-down crew: 4:00–5:00 PM
You don't have to take the whole day — even two hours is a gift. We'll feed you, we'll thank you, and you'll be part of something that honors the people who came before us.
