DARE TO DREAM: A Juneteenth Collective Futures Lab
About this Event
Dare to Dream is an immersive Juneteenth Collective Futures Lab rooted in Black radical imagination, healing justice, narrative therapy, music, storytelling, and communal care.
In a time where people are being systematically stripped of hope, rest, softness, connection, and the ability to imagine life beyond survival, this interactive experience invites participants to practice hope together through immersive creative spaces, curated sounds, collaborative world-building, reflection, movement, art-making, and collective witnessing.
Inspired by Black liberation traditions and abolitionist imagination, Dare to Dream asks:
What does freedom sound like?
What would life feel like beyond survival?
What futures become possible when we dare to imagine together?
Hosted by Black licensed therapists, this experience includes immersive installations, a curated DJ set, free mocktails, storytelling, and creative liberation practices designed to help participants reconnect to imagination as a communal and revolutionary act.
This event is a continuation of our REST Black History Month series, through which we collectively raised and donated over $10,000 to mutual aid initiatives in Sudan.
