World Buttery Championship 2026

Slow Food Aberdeen City & Shire are bringing back the World Buttery Championship. This year the championship will be held on the Friday 19th June 2026 at North East Scotland College (NESCOL)’s Aberdeen City Campus and this year we will host two competitions.
Best Retail Buttery – Top bakers will take part in a live bake off to find the best butteries available for sale in the world!
Best Home Bake Buttery – The Best Home Baked Buttery is open to all and this will also be a live bake off to find the best home baked butteries in the world.
