Balboa-Lindy Hop Fusion:
This class will focus on how to enrich your social dancing with fusion flair and seamlessly transition between these dances, blending the smooth elegance of Balboa with the dynamic energy of Lindy Hop:
-Identifying musical moments that suit Balboa or Lindy Hop.
-Learning techniques for transitioning smoothly between the two styles.
-Adapting your movement and connection to make the switch effortless … and more!
This session is ideal for dancers comfortable with the basics of both Balboa and Lindy Hop - whether you're primarily a Lindy Hopper curious about Balboa, or a Balboa dancer eager to explore Lindy Hop, this class is for you!
Strictly Balboa - Musical Novelty in the Familiar:
This class is about musicality, play, and creativity.
In this class, find novelty in the familiar by adding (and subtracting) different rhythms and accents.
By using familiar shapes and patterns, we can dive deep into the world of musicality and transform something basic into something rich and personal.
This class welcomes Balboa dancers of almost all levels. To get the most out of the session, you should feel comfortable with Balboa basics across all tempos – slow to fast – including the Balboa Basic, Come Around, Throw Out, and Out & Ins.
