Workshop: The Art of the Portrait From Life

Learn to capture the beauty, likeness, and expression of the human face. In this 3-hour workshop, students will learn the simple tricks and techniques to draw lively portraits in charcoal. Explore the proportions, values, and expression of the portrait in an accessible and beginner-friendly class. Participants will need to bring or purchase an 18 x 24 or 20 x 26 in clipboard (or a thin board with gator clips). Modeling fee is included.
