Dead & Experienced is bringing the bus to Good Times Bar & Grill in Maitland, Florida, on Sunday, September 13th!
D&E is a Florida-based tribute to the Grateful Dead built around bringing together different combinations of talented musicians for each special show. Our Maitland stop will feature the second unique D&E lineup—some of Central Florida’s finest players coming together for a night of deep grooves, long jams, familiar songs, and that unmistakable Grateful Dead spirit.
THE BAND
Joe Morgan — Guitar and Vocals
Tampa-based Joe Morgan will bring his unmistakable guitar work and vocals to the D&E stage. Joe was a founding member of Earthlight and Dixie Flatline, two bands that helped shape the Tampa Bay jam-band scene in the early 2000s. He currently serves as the lead guitarist for Whiskey Sonic and regularly performs solo throughout the Tampa Bay area, playing a mix of Grateful Dead favorites and his own original material.
Elliott “Shreddie King” Countess — Guitar and Vocals
Orlando-based multi-instrumentalist Elliott Countess has been performing throughout Central Florida for more than 15 years. Elliott fronts Shreddie King & The Stonejack Ballers and also performs with Orlando’s Grateful Dead tribute band, The Spread. With deep roots in blues, rock, funk, and improvisational music, Elliott brings plenty of fire—and plenty of shred—to every stage he steps onto.
Greg Koerner, aka Gent Treadly — Bass and Vocals
Gent Treadly and his bass have traveled countless roads—and stormed the gates of heaven more than a few times along the way. Greg brings a lifetime of experience performing Grateful Dead music and currently performs with Stanley Jordan Plays the Dead. He has toured extensively with Vince Welnick of the Grateful Dead and Charles Neville of The Neville Brothers, and has also performed with Dark Star Orchestra, Unlimited Devotion, Henry Butler, and The Band’s Garth Hudson.
Bellina Lopez — Vocals
Adding another dimension to the evening will be Bellina Lopez of Sundancer’s Union. Bellina was a member of The Rap Jacks, also performed with Unlimited Devotion, and leads the alternative-rock project Bellicosa. Her soulful voice and commanding stage presence will add another powerful layer to this special lineup.
Jeff Sudbury — Drums
Holding down the drums is Jeff Sudbury of The Spread. Jeff is a founding member of The Rap Jacks and has also performed with Alan Gilman's Garcia Sundae. Known for his deep pocket, musical sensitivity, and dynamic approach, he's equally comfortable laying down a groove or supporting the music wherever the improvisation leads. As both a drummer and guitarist, Jeff brings a unique perspective to the kit, approaching every performance with a musician's ear and a passion for the Grateful Dead's improvisational tradition.
Eric Ryan — Keyboards, Organ and Synths
Eric has been playing Grateful Dead music for more than 20 years and has shared the stage with Florida favorites including Dead Set Florida, The Rap Jacks and Dead All Over. Eric brings plenty of heart, energy, and a deep appreciation for the improvisational spirit of the music.
Fun Fact: Eric has played with all of these musicians in prior line-ups including Joe Morgan dating back to 2002 (Earthlight, The ART Project) Gent Treadly (2005 at The Martini Club - Dunedin, FL). Eric performed 9 shows with Bellina and Jeff (The Rap Jacks) from August 2024 – May 2025 and also played with The Shreddie King for 2 Rap Jacks shows during that same time period. This is going to be an evening of Good Times and Good Friends!
