This workshop offers a look into the process of starting an independent record label and releasing music today. We'll explore the vision behind DOT / Dialog Sound, from recording methods and collaborations to promotion and distribution. Participants will hear selected records, get a live-set demo of upcoming Insomnia performance, and gain insight into performance setups and methods. The session ends with an open Q&A.
The workshop with Dialog is presented through the Cloud: Exit programme. Cloud: Exit is a part of Insomnia Festivals efforts to help develop and nurture new talents in the electronic music scene of northern Norway. The programme is made possible with support from SNN Samfunnsløftet and Talent Norway.
