This statement perfectly sets the stage for our upcoming Workshop on Grassroots Mapping of Climate Change-Induced Vulnerabilities hosted by Youth Empowerment for Climate Action (YECA). This workshop is designed to equip young leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle climate challenges at the local level.
Workshop Overview: In this one-day workshop, participants will be introduced to grassroots mapping techniques essential for identifying and addressing climate vulnerabilities. The session will combine theoretical insights with hands-on training using open-source tools, empowering communities to integrate local knowledge into resilience-building strategies against climate change.
Eligibility:
Students who are currently in their 1st/2nd/3rd year of study in any recognized academic institution in Bangladesh. Also, passionate on climate action, and within the age range of 18-25, are eligible for this workshop. Females, ethnic minorities and people of Indigenous background from different districts of Bangladesh are highly encouraged to apply.
