All the Participants will have to participate in this event individually as this is a solo event. They will have to answer different types of questions from literature and grammar. Both multiple choice and short questions will be given.

-This is a team based event
-Every team must consist of maximum of three members
-This is an open event. So anyone can participate here and there is no pre-registration.
-There will be only one written round
-Every question will be visualized and answer sheets will be provided by us ***Members of a team do NOT have to be all from the same institution as long as they can show their grade and institution through their ID cards.
EXTEMPORE SPEECH (Bengali & English)

An extempore speech is an impromptu speech where the speaker has to say about the topic with a little preparation.It is a spoken presentation of an argument, narration or explanation on a subject that has not been previously outlined extensively. The topic will be given on spot. Participants will have 3 minutes to prepare their speech and 3 minutes to deliver it.
Brain Games

Ever took an IQ test? No matter what your IQ score is,it can't properly determine your brain's capabilities. If you think of yourself as a great problem solver,smart decision maker and creative thinker,this one's for you. Showcase your brain's actual capabilities in Brain games!
SPELLING BEE (English)
====================
The usual spelling competition followed by two rounds. First round will be a written round and the second one will be a stage round. Top 5 participants from the first round will move on to the finals and will compete for the championship. But for the Junior and Secondary category, there will only be one written round. Stay tuned for further updates.
Anime Quiz

Remians Language Club is bringing you the Anime Quiz! It's the stage for anime fans to prove their courage by showcasing the unique knowledge they have acquired throughout the years of anime watching!
Selected anime for the quiz:

Details: - This event is open for all categories of students. - This is a solo event. - The registration fee for the event is BDT 100/- per person. Both online registration and spot registration will be available here. There will be a registration process through Bkash/ Nagad within a certain period of time or you have to register from our information booth on the college campus. All the Participants can participate in this event individually. A situation will be given and the participants will have to write a script according to the theme.

BANGLA GRAMMAR OLYMPIAD

We're here with another event of Bangla Olympiad at the 9th DRMC National Language Festival 2024. So get ready to show off your linguistic expertise anead with other Bangla enthusasts in this exciting event. Event Details: -This is a solo event -Participants from junior, secondary and senior category will be able to participate in this event -The winners from each category will be provided with crests and certificates
CALLIGRAPHY
============
There will be two segments for Calligraphy & Typography:
1. English/Bangla.
2. Arabic.
This event is open for all.
Rules & Regulations:
1. All submissions must be in JPEG or PNG format.
2. The file limit must be 16×12 inch portrait & 12×17 inch landscape.
3. Both traditional and digital form of Calligraphy & Typography is to be submitted in this segment.
4. Maximum of 5 submission is allowed in a single category. Participants have to pay a registration fee of BDT 500 for EACH of his/her selected artworks.
5. Selected participants will have to pay their registration fees by Bkash or Nagad. The account number will be notified after the result. Participants can also make the payment at the booths placed by the Remians Language Club in Dhaka Residential Model College.
Submission Guidelines: The file name of the artworks needs to be in this manner.
Your Full Name_Your Institution Name_Group_Category_Submission Number_Caption_Phone Number.

***Participants are required to email their entries to the following address: (will be announced soon)
1. Submission shouldn’t exceed 25 MB.
2. If any of the content is more than 25MB then upload it in your Google Drive and then send us the link. Don't forget to turn on link sharing. Otherwise, compress the size.
3. Any of the vulgar or copied contents can disqualify the participants.
4. Watermark in any digital Calligraphy/Typography is NOT allowed. But if there is any signature you are allowed then.
5. If you're taking a photo of your artwork (traditional calligraphy) make sure it's flat and straight and that it is exposed to adequate lighting so that the artwork is clearly visible.
6. Participants who will hand paint the Calligraphy/Typography at home, they are requested to submit their artworks on the announced date at the college premises.
7. Participants who are willing to participate from outside Dhaka, are requested to send their artworks by scanning and mail to the mentioned Email Adress.
8. Every participant of the Calligraphy/Typography will be given a participation certificate and will get their artworks framed. Last date of submission: WILL BE REVEALED SOON.

Innovative Journalism

To bring out the talent and creativity of the extraordinary youth of this generation, we're excited to unveil the event "Innovative Journalism" at the '9th DRMC National Language Festival 2024'. The goal of this event is to express the latent potential of the students. Innovative Journalism is an online submission based event. The participants must submit their report or journal online on a particular topic given below. After the submission the authority will print the journal or report and display all of the submissions during the festival and the judgement will be made from there and of course it will be open for all of the visitors and participants for a visible and clear comparison. It’s all about showing how much creative you are at using references and your own point of views over a topic no less good than a journalist.
Details:
- This is a solo event
- The champion and the runner up from both categories will be provided with crests and certificates
- The report has to be written in English Topics (Secondary)

Rules and Regulations:
1. Your writing must not exceed more than 2000 words excluding your name, institution and category on the second page bottom right corner.
2. You must submit your writings in a MS Word file where the page size must be A4 with regular margin gaps.
3. Yes you can give your own title over the topic but it must be a sub title of the given topic.
Other Instructions:
1. Participants can add graphs,charts and pictures related to their respective topics if needed
2. Participants who'll do deep research on their topics will be prioritized.
3. Participants must fill up the form given below and submit their research paper in a word file.
4. Edit & proofread the writing to polish your English and avoid grammar mistakes.
5. Write all sections that include body parts and conclusion
